Cancer is probably one of the worst things that can happen to anyone. And it not only wrecks the person who is suffering from it but also, those who are around him/her. We have seen a grown up fighting cancer but what about a child? Yes, a 5-year-old to be honest. Eileidh Paterson, a 5-year-old has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a form of cancer. Feel heartbroken already, don’t you? But you don’t really have to. She is happy and all the credit goes to her best friend Harrison Grier. The 5-year-old got married to her best friend in a fairy tale themed wedding ceremony. She finally got to tick her dream wedding from the bucket list at Aberdeen Conference Centre.

The best friend’s father, Billy Grier couldn’t be happier and said, “Harrison had never been to a wedding before, so this was all new to him. But it was a beautiful ceremony and he enjoyed every minute. He was quite excited to do it. Ever since he met Eileidh, they have been inseparable. I think he knew what was going on. He certainly knew how important it was to her and wanted to do whatever he could for her.”
The beautiful 5-year-old bride wore a white-pink dree whereas the handsome groom wore the traditional Scottish Kilt. The fairy godmother in front of all the little superheroes and princesses officially declared the two best friends forever.
Eileidh’s older brother, Callum was the one to walk the 5-year-old into the room. The fairy godmother even told them a fairy tale story which was written by Eileidh’s mother Gail Patterson herself. Harrison indeed has raised the best friend goals bar high for everyone. And let’s all pray for her speedy recovery from Cancer.
