Men At Tech Fair Molest Sex Robot So Much It’s Left Broken

The debut of a very lifelike sex robot named Samantha was set to be a very cool breakthrough that was revealed at a tech show. The audience, however, behaved like a group of hormone-excited Neanderthals, which many found unsurprising. Sergi Santos, the developer of Samantha, was clearly disgusted. According to Sergi, the attendees at the Arts Electronica Festival in Linz behaved like barbarians with Samantha the sex doll. The doll had to be repaired, but is not destroyed to the point of needing to be discarded.

The Event The Arts Electronica Festival in Linz, Austria is a global tech fair. This year the focus of the fair was displaying artificial intelligence. The Samantha doll, and intelligent, lifelike AI Sex doll was set up on display

The Premier The display for a sex doll is what you would expect, and unfortunately, the reaction from many of the men in attendance was exactly what you would expect. They descended on the doll with such vigor in their attentions that the doll would need to be sent in for a barrage of repairs.

The Robot Samantha features a plethora of innovative interactions. She moans realistically, replies when spoken to and reacts to touch. This, in addition to the lifelike features of the doll, made her a prime target for unhinged nincompoops.

How Samantha Works Samantha is designed to react to touch on her breasts and hips for example as though she is enjoying herself. In this case, she moans. This was to show off the artificial intelligence aspect of her design Artificial intelligence was the focus of the Arts Electronica Festival this year, after all.

Anticipation The creators of Samantha anticipated a lot of interest in their product. Sex dolls are not a new concept. One with such a focus on AI and response and so on is a next level step up. As such the developer, Sergi Santos expected a lot of interest and even interaction with the doll.

They Lost It The men who focused on the £3,000 doll left her clearly damaged, soiled and battered. Two of her fingers were broken. According to Sergi, people were mounting her breasts. They behaved as though they did not want to restrain themselves.

Reception The reception of the Samantha sex doll could fairly be seen as emphatic. The reception of the behavior with the doll however has been met with disgust and disappointment.

Not Surprised Most women will tell you that they are not the least bit surprised. Responses have gone so far as to remind people that women would love for sex dolls to come out as lifelike as possible to take some of the heat off of them.

The offenders No word has been said about the actual offenders who broke the Samantha sex doll display. Even with photos and others in attendance, there have been no attempts to compensate for the damage done to the display, supposedly because it was just a display.

The Damage The damage has not been estimated yet. Fortunately for the makers of the Samantha sex doll, she was built to take a certain amount of abuse give the audience and purpose it was created for.

Repairs The display Samantha will not have to be scrapped, she can be repaired which shows the durability of the product for certain. The number of people who messed around haphazardly with the doll rather than admiring the technology within it or just commenting on the design was much higher than anticipated

The Reactions Comment sections are full of opinions on what happened to the sex doll. The biggest shame is that none of the commenters are surprised, but many of them are concerned. Apparently getting a glimpse into this behavior has been unsettling for most.

1. The Future The future of the Samantha sex doll and others coming out is nearly guaranteed. The sex industry is always going to have success as long as the product is good. Though no one anticipates such a reaction, they are more likely to be prepared for future models. A lot of people, men and women have even asked if a male version will eventually come out.

2. The Costs Right now the cost of the Samantha doll was set at £3,000. Who knows what the final cost will be right now, but it is good to have a ballpark price for those who want to purchase a Samantha for themselves.

3. Sorry Samantha The creators have assured everyone that Samantha is reparable, and that she will be back in action without permanent damage. We’ll see what happens!
